This blog is about a greeting card class that starts the first full week of January 2009. I’ve been teaching this class two or three times a year since the fall of 2005 and every term we have fun making cards for families and friends. The class starts with simple cards and builds to more complex ones. By the end of the term students have learned many paper crafting techniques and are able to make greeting cards that are truly appreciated by those receiving them.
This is both a journal of the journey and an opportunity for others to join us. Come on, join in the fun and learn to make greeting cards or share your cardmaking expertise.
All you have to do to participate online is to post questions and comments to the blog postings and, if you like, upload pictures of your cards to the Flickr group: http://www.flickr.com/groups/cardclass/
You must have a Flickr account to upload pictures to Flickr. Basic Flickr accounts are free. Just register, upload pictures, and join the cardclass group. Now you are ready to post pictures of your cards for others to see.
